CasBar: Trevor Jackson On ‘Superfly,’ And Why He’s Not a Fan Of NBA 2k

On this episode of CasBar, we’re throwing jabs in Tekken in honor of SuperFly again, but this time with the film’s star, Trevor Jackson. We’re hopping on the PlayStation 4 against the singer and actor to see who can take home the victory in three rounds. They were originally scheduled to ball out in NBA 2K, but Jackson didn’t like his odds while playing a team sport and wanted a one-on-one kind of deal. The homie Michael Wade is repping for CASSIUS again, and with one battle under his belt, we hope he can pull through with the W for Team CASSIUS.

But first, we’ve gotta go over the rules:

  1. If Team CASSIUS wins, Jackson has to answer any crazy question we ask. If Jackson wins, he gets to plug whatever he wants for 15 seconds.
  2. To make things fair, for each round, both players are allowed to change their characters.
  3. And most importantly, Team CASSIUS better not get its ass kicked.

Jackson seems like a Tekken guru and immediately chooses Eddy, while Wade goes for Bryan. Wade originally planned to ask about his Netflix and chill habits, but Jackson revealed that he wouldn’t mind just playing Tekken with a woman if she came through to chill, saying, “You can tell a lot about a woman by the way she plays Tekken.”

It didn’t work too well in the first round for Team CASSIUS, and Wade was able to snatch a victory in the second. But to find out came out on top in the war, you’ll have to watch the episode up top.
