French Montana Becomes An American Citizen
French Montana is officially an American citizen. The rapper was sworn in Wednesday in New Jersey after applying for citizenship back in February of 2017. Montana was born in Morocco but immigrated to the United States when he was. Back in 2012, he went back to his native of Morocco with Fader Magazine to reunite with some family that he hasn’t seen in years.
Jordan Peele Wants to Reboot ‘Gargoyles’
The Get Out writer and director might be trying his hand at a new genre: 90s throwback. Jordan Peele has expressed interest in the classic Gargoyles cartoon franchise.
The only thing holding him back? Disney hasn’t officially turned the direction down yet, but they’re reportedly sitting on it in hopes that Peele will bring his project elsewhere. So stay tuned y’all, we might be waiting for this one for a minute.
John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Their Kids Donate $72,000 each to ACLU on Trump’s Birthday
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen wanted to celebrate 45’s birthday in a very special way this year, but not in the way you would expect. The family donated $288,000 ($72,000 per family member) to the American Civil Liberties Union on Thursday, June 14 for Trump’s birthday.
Teigen made an announcement about it on Twitter and Instagram, saying they were “outraged to see and hear the horror stories of immigrant families seeking asylum and refuge in America being ripped apart due to the inhumane policies of the Trump administration.”

2 Chainz Is Dropping A New Song Featuring Drake & Quavo
While everyone is patiently awaiting the Nas album at midnight, 2 Chainz is also putting on for GOOD music with a new single featuring Drake and Quavo. Judging by the artwork, it’s titled Bigger Than You. Drake and Chainz have previously rapped together on Big Amount and Fuckin’ Problems, while Quavo and Chainz have been on Good Drank together.
