These Black WWE Stars Are Weighing in on Hulk Hogan Being Reinstated into the Hall of Fame.
After booting Hulk Hogan from its Hall of Fame for using the N-word on tape just three years ago, the WWE said in a statement that its decided to reinstate the wrestler because they felt his “numerous public apologies” were sufficient. Black WWE stars feel otherwise, however.
WWE’s Mark Henry tells TMZ there’s a “50-50” split among Black wrestlers. “I’ve talked to guys that were like, ‘Man, the hell with him,'” he said… but he’s not one of them. In fact, he thinks Hogan’s apologies have been sincere.
You can read the statement written by the Black wrestlers who feel differently below.

Lupita Nyong’o Is New Face of Calvin Klein.
And—as always—she looks stunning. Nyong’o was tapped along with Saoirse Ronan for the brand’s new women’s scent.
“The campaign, directed by artist Anne Collier, features both striking, minimalist portraits of the award-winning actresses alongside women they have personally been inspired by,” ELLE writes. “Nyong’o chose Eartha Kitt and Katharine Hepburn, while Ronan picked Sissy Spacek and Nina Simone.”
Yasiin Bey Is Opening a Gallery in the Bronx.
It’s a meeting of hip-hop and fine art, Okayplayer reports. It’s called The Compound, it’s a collab with advertising executive Free Richardson, and “will serve as a space for all mediums of art,” Bey told artnet News. “Free will run day-to-day operations alongside staff and I will bring in curatorial and special projects.”
“For me everything is art,” Richardson added. “What often happens is that certain artists don’t get a fair chance, and a lot of galleries don’t accept certain artists. The whole blue-chip world isn’t fair because certain artists that are just as good will never be accepted.”
