Unite the Right 2 Counterprotesters Said ‘Not Today, Satan.’

Counterprotesters showed up and out during the Unite the Right 2 rally in Washington, D.C. on Sunday. According to CNN, approximately two dozen white nationalists showed up to the event, failing to outnumber the crowds of those in opposition.

“The showing from ‘Unite the Right 2’ participants fell far short of the hundreds that organizer Jason Kessler was expecting, based on his event permit application,” CNN reports. “Kessler, who organized last year’s ‘Unite the Right’ rally in Charlottesville, blamed the low turnout on logistical issues and confusion regarding the group’s transportation — a claim echoed by at least two men who spoke to reporters. ‘People are scared to come out after what happened last year,’ one of the men added.”

Meanwhile in Charlottesville, folks gathered with Susan Bro—mother of the late Heather Heyer—to remember her daughter on the anniversary of her death.

I thought I was going to have a really nice corner office, a lot of respect and a power suit.”

To make matters more awkward, the cover art is a photo of the Kardashian-Jenner fam at Kylie’s 21st birthday bash. We just… 😷😷😷
