Jimmy Butler Said His Timberwolves Practice Wasn’t for Publicity
Throwback to October, when Jimmy Butler made headlines for his dramatic practice for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Butler finally came clean in a televised interview with Rachel Nichols.
“What happened was: This interview was planned three weeks ahead of time to talk about what was going on,” Butler said. “So I would keep going into the office talking with management, talking with Thibs (Minnesota head coach Tom Thibodeau) and they would be like, ‘Hey you need to come in and practice.’ I was like, “Thibs, what I need to come in and practice for? Y’all gonna trade me.’ What’s the point of practicing—going in there, getting up and down—and then I’m gonna be gone in a day?”

Selena Scripted Series Coming to Netflix
Me siento muy…excited!
Netflix announced on Tuesday that we can expect Selena: The Series coming very soon. In a teaser video featuring chanting fans yelling “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” the title credits for the show come up featuring the singer’s signature in bright purple.
The Quintanilla family are developing the series and serving as executive producers alongside Moisés Zamora, who is writing the script and also executive producing.
Now the question that we’re all waiting for…when are we going to see these casting choices?
‘On My Block’ is the Most Streamed Netflix Series of 2018
The numbers are in— CASSIUS favorite On My Block is Netflix’s Most-Binged Show of 2018.
The teen dramedy had the highest watch-time-per-viewing session. It debuted earlier this year to positive reviews and mostly traveled in fame via word of mouth, getting a second-season pick up in April. Behind On My Block are Making a Murderer, followed by Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why, the docuseries Last Chance U and the U.K. import Bodyguard.
