Following the airing of Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly, another damning video has surfaced.
According to CNN, the new VHS tape features Kelly having sex with a girl who refers to her body parts as 14 years old. Lawyer Michael Avenatti, who rose to popularity after representing Stormy Daniels, claims to represent a man who handed the tape the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago last weekend.
“My client knows the identity of the girl and R. Kelly. He identified the two of them on the videotape. He worked for and has known R. Kelly for decades and he met the girl on a number of occasions,” Avenatti said.
Avenatti released a statement on Twitter, saying that last April his firm began working with several clients tied to R. Kelly and the sexual assault allegations. Included in the evidence is “a tape, which is clear, is approximately 45 minutes in length and has never previously been publicly disclosed or, until recently, provided to law enforcement.”
