On the latest episode of CasBar, we’re chopping it up with producer and author Devon Franklin while playing NBA 2K19.
But before we get into that, we gotta make sure folks know the rules:
- If Team CASSIUS wins a quarter, Franklin has to answer any crazy question we ask. If Franklin is winning, he gets to plug whatever he wants for 15 seconds.
- To keep things exciting (and speed things up) quarters will be short.
- And, most important: Team CASSIUS better not get its ass kicked.
Franklin came through to the CASSIUS studios to talk about his new book The Truth About Men, but first he has to get ready to ball out against CasBar host Mike. The author admits that he hasn’t picked up the sticks in a while but he loves to play games on his phone. He’d love to have a system or two in his house, but he’s also not too sure how his wife, Meagan Good, would feel about that.
The two decide to keep things very L.A., as Franklin opts for the freakishly good Golden State Warriors and Mike goes with the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers. As Franklin discusses his work on the film Breakthrough, he still manages to keep it competitive in the first quarter.
