A$AP Rocky Has Been Charged with Assault in Sweden.

Swedish prosecutor Daniel Suneson said in a statement on Thursday charges were filed against A$AP Rocky and two others “suspected of assault causing actual bodily harm, having come to the conclusion that the events in question constitute a crime and despite claims of self-defense and provocation.”

Though a defense lawyer says Rocky acted in self defense, Suneson feels otherwise.

“It is worth noting that I have had access to a greater amount of material than that which has previously been available on the internet,” he said. “In addition to video material, the injured party’s statements have been supported by witness statements.”

Lil Nas X & BTS Just Dropped the “Old Town Road” Remix You Didn’t Know You Needed.

Insert pandemonium here. Lil Nas X and BTS just collaborated for the “Old Town Road” remix that’s sure to shut down all social media platforms.

The remix, which dropped late Thursday night (July 25), was flipped to represent the South Korea’s capital, which is BTS’ stomping grounds.

“Clocking in at just under two-minutes, RM and Lil Nas X switch off verses, with RM offering up his characteristic wordplay throughout, using a play on the word ‘homie’ to refer to a popular Korean gardening tool known as a ‘homi,'” Billboard points out.

Stan Lee Is Getting a Street Named After Him in The Bronx.

On Tuesday (July 23), City Council voted co-name University Avenue, which is between Brandt Place and West 176th Street, “Stan Lee Way.” The late Marvel legend reportedly lived in the area and was also an alum at DeWitt Clinton High School, says Complex.

Lee passed away in November at age 95. Marvel’s Roy Thomas says he was “ready to go.”

“As long as he had the energy for it and didn’t have to travel, Stan was always up to do some more cameos,” Thomas said. “He got a kick out of those more than anything else.”
