The TikTok star recently sat down with
Shannon Sharpe on his
Club Shay Shay podcast while riding around Las Vegas. The two talked about his Detroit roots, his
MMA career, and how he became a social media sensation.
But things took a dark turn when Sharpe asked Lee about the time he contemplated suicide, revealing that he actually went through with the act after a back-and-forth with his father.

“Me and my dad got into it real bad. He told me that I could not go somewhere, and I said, ‘F-ck you! Who is telling me I can’t go somewhere?’” Lee said.
Lee explains that it began when he and his father got into an argument, and he was told that if he couldn’t respect his rules, he couldn’t live at his childhood home. Paired with his mental health, Lee responded by attempting to hang himself in the family’s backyard. However, it was stopped because, despite a heated argument, his father was the one to ensure he was okay.
“He came, picked me up, took me off them ties and told me how much he loved me, and that’s why I’m here today. I would’ve been gone. … I understood now, like he does love you. He grew up without his father. He was just doing the best that he could do with what he had,” Lee said.
He explains that his father knew he was going through a phase and that they’d get through it together. He acknowledges that the first time it hit him differently, his father told him he loved him, which completely changed his relationship with his father.
