The first trailer for Ironheart has finally arrived, and don’t get it twisted. She isn’t just a replacement for Tony Stark; she is building towards becoming iconic in her own right.

The Marvel Studios Disney+ series has been discussed for years since the executive producer and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, along with Anthony Ramos (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), who stars in the series, helped introduce it back in 2022 at the D23 Expo. CassiusLife was in the building and saw the trailer for this show at the time, which was supposed to drop in 2023 before Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios had to shift their plans.

That trailer we saw years ago has finally arrived, giving all fans a glimpse of the greatness we saw so many years ago.

Ironheart picks right up after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which introduced Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She is fresh off her dope internship in Wakanda, which saw her build a badass suit with some help from Queen Shuri (Letitia Wright). However, she had to leave because, you know, Wakandan technology can’t leave the homeland.

Williams is still building suits, but she needs some help, financially, now that she no longer has the endless resources she benefited from during her time in Wakanda, and that’s where the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins, aka “The Hood,” played by Ramos, who offers to help RiRi.

The series will feature technology versus magic as the two characters will eventually clash.

The Haters Were Hating On Ironheart

Reactions to the show are a mix of excitement that the character, first introduced to the comic book world in 2016 by Brian Michael Bendis, finally has her own show, while others feel a way because Marvel Studios took their sweet time to promote it.

Of course, the racist nerds dare to call Thorne’s RiRi Williams the DEI replacement for Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark, who will now be Dr. Doom, when the MCU hits the reset button with the arrival of Avengers: Doomsday.

Discussing Film had to turn off the comments for posts on X surrounding the series’ poster and trailer because they were out of control.

According to The Direct, the trailer on YouTube has received over 50% more dislikes and likes.

All the more reason for us to show up and show out with our support for another project that Ryan Coogler is attached to and is Black as hell, to make the haters mad.

Ironheart finally arrives on Disney+ June 24, 2025, and also stars Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. Chinaka Hodge is the head writer, and Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes direct the episodes.
