Zion Williamson‘s personal life is once again overshadowing his NBA career.

With his New Orleans Pelicans missing the postseason, the former No. 1 draft pick is back in the news because he’s being accused of rape.

According to TMZ, a woman identified as Jane Doe filed a complaint in Los Angeles civil court on Thursday, claiming to be his ex-girlfriend. She alleges that she dated him from his freshman year at Duke University in 2018 until 2023, and the abuse began in 2020.

Specifically, she recounts that in September 2020, she was picked up from a hotel and taken to a home he was renting in Beverly Hills. While there, he called her “stuck up” and a “b-tch” then forced her to have sex even though she was tired and wanted to sleep, and hid her phone for hours. During the assault, he allegedly choked and screamed at her for “talking too much.”

She recounts a second instance in October when she was planning to leave the home to spend time with a friend when he forced her to the ground and raped her. Again, he took her phone, in addition to her laptop, and stashed them.

The filing outlines other alleged instances of “sexual, physical, emotional and financial abuse” that took place in California and Louisiana, including in 2022 when he pointed a loaded gun at her face, leading to a “reasonable fear for her life.”

On another occasion, she says one time she tried to leave a vehicle and he stopped her by hitting her in the head with the door, knocking her unconscious.

“Threatening to have his paid security guard shoot Plaintiff in the head while the security guard was present and carrying a loaded firearm multiple times,” reads the case.

It also alleges that he threatened to have his security kill her parents, revealing several times that he knew their address. He also allegedly monitored her location at all times, following her home from work, and “entering her apartment without permission and rifling through her belongings, lying in wait at her apartment for her to return.”

Just last month, Williamson’s child’s mother, Ahkeema Rose, egged his home, and weeks later showed up on the property unannounced and reportedly grabbed his new girlfriend by the hair and punched her in the face. She fled the scene but was later arrested on home invasion, aggravated battery, and stalking charges.
