Former Miss USA 2019 winner and EXTRA TV correspondent Cheslie Kryst, died on Sunday morning in New York City. Her family and the New York Police Department confirmed her identity and her passing to the press in statements made later that day.
For the second year in a row, a Black woman from the District of Columbia has been crowned Miss USA.
