TMZ reports that the massive legal tab the disgraced mogul racked up runs into the seven figures, totaling somewhere between $7 and $8 million.
The money went to his top-notch legal crew led by Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos, Brian Steel, and Nicole Westmoreland, with the billable hours going back to his New York City arrest in September 2024.
Agnifilo’s previous clients include NXIVM founder Keith Raniere, “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli, and alleged United Healthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione.
Brian Steel was also part of the longest criminal trial in Georgia history when he successfully helped Young Thug avoid a RICO charge as the leader of YSL.
While that is a lot of money, for former billionaire Diddy it’s not hurting his pockets, plus he was fighting for his life.
It was money well spent because the deck was initially stacked against him when he was facing a racketeering conspiracy charge that could carry as much as life in prison, sex trafficking charge that also could come with life in prison or at least a 15-year minimum, and two prostitution charges that come with 10 years of incarceration each.
Diddy could have spent the rest of his life in jail or, at the very least, decades, but thanks to his superstar team of lawyers, he’s only serving 50 months at FCI Fort Dix with other conditions including supervised release and a $500,000 fine.
Even so, his 2028 release date has already been changed in his favor several times: it was originally set for May 8, then delayed to June 4, before eventually getting moved up to April 25, and was set for Feb. 23 and eventually settled on Jan. 24.
However, that date was amended again, following a fight with a fellow prisoner who reportedly “dissed” him, and it escalated into a physical fight, again moving his release back to February.
