- Players wear custom jewelry worth six figures, from chains to pendants with personal meanings.
- Jewelry has become a fashion statement, with pregame and warmups as opportunities to showcase designer pieces.

NFL players spend Sundays trying to collect one very specific piece of jewelry: a Super Bowl ring. But long before anybody gets sized for championship hardware, plenty of the league’s biggest stars are already walking around with enough diamonds to light an entire stadium.
Much like their NBA counterparts, NFL players have increasingly made fashion part of the show. Pregame tunnel walks, press conferences, red carpets and even warmups have become opportunities to show off designer fits, luxury watches and custom pieces that sometimes cost well into six figures. Some players even take the madness onto the field, wearing diamond chains while they play.
And while dropping ridiculous money on jewelry can look like one giant flex from the outside, many of the league’s best pieces have a little more meaning behind them. Jersey numbers, nicknames, personal mantras and even favorite coffee shops have all been transformed into massive diamond pendants.
The Natural Diamond Council has highlighted several NFL stars whose jewelry collections can compete with anybody in sports, while jewelers like Gabriel The Jeweler, Benny The Jeweler, Al The Jeweler and Leo Frost have become almost as familiar around NFL locker rooms as equipment managers. So, from a $1 million chain Justin Jefferson has actually worn during a game to Stefon Diggs turning a Starbucks logo into thousands of dollars worth of ice, here are some of the craziest jewelry pieces worn by NFL stars.
Justin Jefferson — The $1 Million Diamond Chain
Justin Jefferson has taken wearing jewelry during football games to another level. The Vikings superstar has worn a massive 14-karat gold chain featuring 37 VVS diamonds that has reportedly been valued at around $1 million.
Jefferson’s collection also includes his iced-out “Jets” pendant — a nod to his nickname — along with diamond grills, rings and other chains. The funniest part may be that during a 2024 game against Green Bay, the million-dollar chain broke and Jefferson simply stuffed it inside his pants before getting back to work.
Saquon Barkley — The 200-Carat No. 26 Pendant
Winning a Super Bowl gave Saquon Barkley another ring for the collection, but his craziest piece might still be hanging around his neck. Benny The Jeweler created Barkley a gigantic No. 26 pendant containing more than 200 carats of VVS fancy-cut diamonds, paying tribute to his longtime jersey number.
Barkley also received a one-of-one chain celebrating Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LIX championship. One custom championship piece was reported to be worth more than $100,000, making a historically great season even shinier.
Jalen Hurts — The “Breed Of One” Chain
Jalen Hurts usually isn’t the loudest person in the room, which makes his gigantic diamond “Breed Of One” chain even better. Gabriel The Jeweler created the custom pendant around Hurts’ personal mantra, using several different shapes of tightly packed diamonds to make the lettering jump off the piece.

The chain went viral after Hurts wore it to a postgame press conference, and Gabriel later said the attention led to a surge of new customers. Hurts apparently wears it sparingly, but when he does pull it out, there isn’t much subtle about it.
Stefon Diggs — 50-Carat “Dawg” Chain
Stefon Diggs has never been shy about letting his jewelry make a statement, and his massive “Dawg” chain is one of his wildest pieces. Created by Al The Jeweler, the custom pendant reportedly features around 50 carats of VS diamonds and emeralds, turning Diggs’ “dawg” mentality into a full-on luxury flex. It’s oversized, colorful and exactly the kind of personalized piece that has made Diggs one of the NFL’s more adventurous jewelry collectors.
Odell Beckham Jr. — Diamond Chains, Grills & Everything Else
Any NFL jewelry list without Odell Beckham Jr. would feel incomplete. OBJ has been one of the league’s biggest fashion personalities for years, and his jewelry collection stretches from oversized diamond chains and expensive watches to grills, bracelets and more unusual pieces.
Gabriel The Jeweler has outfitted Beckham with several custom designs, including a mixed fancy-cut diamond lariat that OBJ wore to Michael Rubin’s famous White Party. He even took the diamonds onto the field for Super Bowl LVI, warming up in custom cleats containing 1,494 individually set diamonds.
Ja’Marr Chase — The “Chosen 1” Pendant
Ja’Marr Chase wasted very little time getting his NFL jewelry collection started. During his rise with Cincinnati, Chase began rocking a custom diamond pendant featuring his jersey number along with the words “Chosen 1” running across the piece.
It’s a fitting piece for a receiver who entered the NFL with massive expectations and quickly became one of its biggest stars. Unlike some players who stick to traditional Cuban links or tennis chains, Chase turned his necklace into another extension of his personal brand.
A.J. Brown — The “1K” Chain
A.J. Brown’s giant “1K” pendant isn’t just about showing everybody he has money. The huge diamond-covered piece represents the 1,000 receiving yards Brown sets as a benchmark for himself each season.
Brown has tied that same goal into one of his more unusual motivational traditions: putting away $100 for every 100 receiving yards he gains and eventually donating the money to charity. So while the chain absolutely looks like a flex, there is actually some football logic behind all that ice.
CeeDee Lamb — Diamond Ball Chains & Iced-Out Watch
CeeDee lamb has quietly built one of the cleaner jewelry collections in the NFL. The Cowboys star frequently layers diamond ball chains around his neck while mixing in bracelets, crosses and other pieces that complement his increasingly adventurous fashion choices.
One of Lamb’s standout accessories has been an iced-out black-and-white pavé diamond watch, while he’s also been photographed stacking a pavé mariner-link bracelet and diamond crosses on his wrist. He’s not always wearing the biggest pendant in the room, but the amount of diamonds starts adding up quickly.
