With his brand new album Wins And Losses in stores and a nationwide tour on the way, Maybach Music lieutenant Meek Mill spoke with our Radio One affiliates for its brand new series, “Voices.”

The Philly-bred rapper discussed his mindset when he recorded his new album, addressing the issues he’s dealt with over the last two years, and how growing up in “The City of Brotherly Love” made him the blue-collared spitter he is today. “My city ain’t gonna accept no play-around, bubble gum rapping. You got to touch the people’s heart,” he says.
