WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was placed in a medically induced coma before undergoing surgery, notes TMZ. Now that the procedure is over, Flair is surrounded by family as they wait to meet the doctors.

Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair was hospitalized and admitted to an intensive care unit over the weekend, according to CBS Sports.
Melinda Zanoni, the CEO of the agency that reps Flair, originally tweeted on Saturday that the wrestling legend was on the way to the hospital but that there was no reason to panic. Late Sunday night, she took to Twitter to ask for “prayers and positive energy.”
It was first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet that Flair was hospitalized Saturday for heart-related issues.
The Nature Boy has been entertaining wrestling fans for decades with his moves inside the ring and his constant fast talking, unapologetic and charismatic persona when the microphone is anywhere near him. His infamous “WOOOOO!” is both a fan and rapper fave.
Still a Youtube sensation and motivational speaker, the Rolex wearin’ Flair has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and will go down as one of the best wrestling personalities in history.
