Following its latest collaboration with Nike, Supreme is teasing a dope partnership with Japanese manga artist, Katsuhiro Otomo. Running from 1982 to 1990, his famed series, Akira, is set in post World World III Tokyo.
The series depicts a dystopian society plagued with corrupt leadership, gang violence and rampant drug use.
Featuring original artwork from the AKIRA series, the lineup includes an extensive range from outerwear to homewear. Check out the selection below.
The full collection will be available online and in Supreme’s Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris stores on November 2 and in Japan on November 4. Peep the video below, in which Otoro dishes on the origins of AKIRA.
