What Do You Get When You Combine Travon Free and Issa Rae? A New HBO Show We Can’t Wait to Watch.
Emmy-winner and former Daily Show writer Travon Free is executive producing a new show with Issa Rae. It’s called Him or Her, is slated to air on HBO, and chronicles the tribulations of a bisexual man navigating dating life. Oh, and if you recall, this isn’t the only venture Rae’s embarking on in the new year. As previously reported, the Insecure star is developing a ’90s L.A. drama with Turner House author Angela Flournoy. She’s also the co-creator of the forthcoming Sweet Life, a one-hour drama she’s penning with Scandal producer Raamla Mohamed. It tells the coming-of-age story of a group of teens growing up in L.A.’s Windsor Hills, and it’s probably going to be awesome.

Tina Becker’s Taking Over the Panthers… At Least Until Diddy Steps In.
In lieu of Jerry Richardson’s decision to sell the Carolina Panthers amid allegations of workplace misconduct and confidential payouts, Tina Becker has been named Chief Operating Officer of the team and will take full control of daily management. While congrats are certainly in order (she’s now one of the highest-ranking female executives for any of the NFL’s 32 teams, according to the Panthers’ official website), she should enjoy it while she can; Diddy, Kaepernick, and Steph Curry are all licking their chops.
