Vince Carter Shines On ‘Em

The internet can’t stop talking about Vince Carter after his season-high score of 24 points led the Sacramento Kings to a win over the Cavs on Wednesday night. Maybe a surprise for some, but Cleveland Coach Tyronn Lue says Carter’s time was due.

“He’s always been a guy, big stage, big moment, that’s been his time to shine,” said Lue, who played against Carter back in the day. “Couldn’t stop him tonight. He had it going.”

According to the Kings, it was the first time in NBA history that a 40-plus-year-old reserve scored at least 20 points in a game. Clap for ’em.
