Just like Tracee Ellis Ross’ smile indicates, the NAACP Image Awards had us shining, shining, shining.

With Ava DuVernay‘s electrifying speech, and Daniel Kaluuya’s well-deserved Best Actor win for Get Out, this year’s NAACP Image Awards on TV One was filled with inspiring images and figures from 2017 that have us bursting with so much pride.

But the celebrations did not begin with the awards telecast. The best and brightest in entertainment and activism were on hand for a special luncheon this weekend.
