Jada Pinkett Smith Has a Valid Reminder.
While many social media users have found Mo’Nique’s boycott to be over the top, Jada Pinkett Smith wants to make sure the base of the comedienne’s message isn’t lost.
“You don’t have to like Mo’Nique’s approach,” Pinkett Smith stated Tuesday on Twitter. “You don’t have to agree with her boycott but don’t allow all of that to make you blind to the fact that non-white women and impoverished white women are underpaid, underrepresented and undervalued EVERYWHERE by EVERYONE.”
She went on to stress the importance of coming together as a community to “support the light she is shining on this truth.”

J. Holiday must be in desperate need of publicity, because that’s the only explanation we have as to why he’d have the audacity to come at three of the biggest names in music (fam, Beyoncé, though?) a couple days ago.
“Cardi, Beyoncé, SZA, all y’all motherfuckers, stop using that fucking pain to make it OK to say some bullshit on your record, and get nominated for a Grammy for going through some bullshit,” he said in a recent Instagram video. “Because so have I as a Black motherfucking man.”
Apparently he’s feeling a way because he “lost to MJB.” But it’s Mary J. Blige, dude. Just… go back to “Bed.”

Erica Garner’s Final Letter Demands Answers.
On Wednesday, Blavity published Erica Garner’s final letter, which demands answers pertaining to the ongoing federal investigation into her father’s death. Particularly, she had much to say regarding the DOJ and its lack of urgency in handling the investigation.
