David “Big Papi” Ortiz, one the most charismatic baseball players to have stepped on the mound, retired following the 2016 season and had his number 34 Boston Red Sox jersey retired.

But when you retire at the young age of 40, you’ve gotta find something else to do, right? “Once you’re not on the baseball schedule, you’re going to have a lot of time to do whatever you want,” he tells EW. So, Ortiz has a new show on Fusion called Big Papi Needs a Job, where the former All-Star hilariously travels around finding new hobbies to fill up all that free time.

The first season consists of 10 episodes that are each 30 minutes long, as Big Papi tries to become everything from musician to manicurist and dog groomer to firefighter. But with Papi’s sense of humor and endless stories from his historic time on the Red Sox, his personality makes the show.

In an exclusive clip from this week’s episode, Ortiz tells the story of the time Manny Ramirez exited left field during a 2005 game and went into the field’s green monster to emerge minutes later. At the time no one knew where he’d gone and Ortiz recalls the conversation he’d later have with him.

“I was like, ‘What were you doing in there?”Ortiz remembers. After Ramirez explained that he really needed to use the bathroom, Ortiz wasn’t sure how he did his business when there was no toilet, but Ramirez responded, “Well I figured it out bruh.”

Watch the hilarious clip up top and tune in to Big Papi Needs a Job every Wednesday at 8 p.m.on Fusion.
