Per an Instagram post Matt Barnes shared on Monday, his Huey Newton biopic, Power to the People, may be on the way. No official announcement has been made, but it appears Keith Powers (Straight Outta Compton, The New Edition Story) will be starring in the film. We’re kind of not mad at this. Stay tuned.

According to the Daily Mail, O.J. Simpson was paid $20,000 to appear in a forthcoming Sasha Baron Cohen film. Note: He still owes Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson’s families money. That said, whatever cash O.J. is making? They want their part.
“Paying money, cash no less, in secret to O.J. Simpson is 100 percent unadulterated sleaze,” a lawyer representing Goldman’s father told Fox News. “This is nuts. O.J. is eternally beyond redemption or forgiveness, but putting money in the hands of another is penance by other means. If [Cohen’s] movie is O.J.’s pot of gold, send us the check.”

uncultured swine’s developer’s decision to destroy 5 Pointz. While it doesn’t bring back their revered work, it lets artists everywhere breathe a huge sigh a relief. Hopefully, they’ll be able to bring it back someday.
