Tyler, The Creator released his fourth album, 2015’s Cherry Bomb, as a surprise project and received plenty of hype and praise. “It’s the music I’ve always wanted to make,” Tyler said in an interview with Billboard before the album dropped. One listen and you can feel the creative expression that came out of the then-24-year-old’s 13-track project. A couple of years later, we get to watch all of that creativity unfold.
Tyler, with director Mikey Alfred and production company Illegal Civ, documented the recording process for Cherry Bomb, complete with behind-the-scenes recording sessions, footage from his tour with A$AP Rocky, and live performances.
