After many delays, re-scheduled release dates and alleged label issues, CTRL, the debut album from talented songstress SZA is finally here, and it doesn’t disappoint. The first lady of Top Dawg Entertainment celebrated the release of her first studio album today, although it was originally slated to come out in February. After dropping her first two singles, “Broken Clocks” and “Love Galore” featuring Travis Scott to much fanfare, her latest effort is sure to be one of the many soundtracks of your summer.

After announcing his new studio album, Boo Boo, singer/producer Toro Y Moi steps back into the spotlight after his last release, 2015’s What For? and the surprise mixtape, Samantha. The South Carolina native cited in a press release that recent music from Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, and others inspired him to go back into the studio. His album will be released on July 7 on Carpark Records, but for now Toro has shared the new single and video from the album, “Girl Like You.”

6LACK – That Far

Atlanta’s 6LACK has made major headway since releasing his debut, Free 6LACK, and he isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon. He’s currently on the road performing on select dates with The Weeknd on his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall” tour, but he didn’t let that stop him from dropping a new single, “That Far.” The record is his first official release since he dropped his collaboration, “First F*ck” with Jhene Aiko. While there’s no new info on when his follow-up project is coming out, the people have more than enough to hold them over in the meantime.

With his new album, Big Fish Theory on the way, Long Beach’s own Vince Staples continues to drop music from the project, and today he let loose “Rain Come Down.” Featuring a contributing hook from singer/modern day prophet Ty Dolla $ign, the new cut joins “BagBak” and “Big Fish” as singles on Big Fish Theory, which comes out later this month on June 23 following up his 2015 EP Summertime ’06 and 2016’s Prima Donna.

Ibeyi – Away Away

Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz, a.k.a. Ibeyi, have seen their popularity rise since the release of their critically-acclaimed self-titled album back in 2015, and even more so when they made an appearance in Beyoncé’s Lemonade film. The Afro-Cuban soul singers have released a new single and video titled “Away Away,” showing them performing in the studio and traveling through a wandering cityscape.

Lido featuring THEY – Not Enough

Paying homage to the incredibly infectious New Jack Swing genre made popular in the early 1990’s, Norwegian singer/producer Lido taps West Coast R&B duo THEY for the bouncy and funky track, “Not Enough.” The singers and the producer blend well on the record, which is sure to set your house function off this weekend.

Masego – Navejo

After debuting this song on the German-based COLORS Youtube channel months ago, Virginia-based singer/producer/saxophone maestro Masego finally released his new loosie, “Navejo.” Capturing his trademark jazz-infused sound, Masego sings of a lady acquaintance known long ago who’s straying down the wrong path.

Ye Ali feat. Eric Bellinger – Big Body Benz

Indiana’s own Ye Ali has been taking on modern R&B his own way since his debut project, Traphouse Jodeci. With his new EP, Passion & Patience on the way, he taps fellow crooner Eric Bellinger for his lead single, “Big Body Benz,” an ode to both his vehicle of choice as well as his special lady (of the moment).
