Jay-Z Named Puma’s President Of Basketball

Puma’s move back into the basketball market is in full swing. According to Complex, Jay-Z has been named as Puma’s President Of Basketball. “We’ve been working with Roc Nation for quite some time. They’ve been great partners to us for several years. We’ve done many different deals with many different ambassadors,” Adam Petrick, Puma’s global director of brand and marketing, said in a statement. The relaunch of Puma’s basketball division also comes with the huge additions of  Arizona’s Deandre Ayton, Texas Tech’s Zhaire Smith, and Duke’s Marvin Bagley III who are set to take the NBA by storm next season.

Miguel Announces The Ascension Tour

Thanks to Miguel, you’ve got yet another tour to add to your calendar in the coming months. In support of his fourth studio album “War & Leisure,” the crooner has announced dates around the states that begin in August and finishes off at the end of September. The opening act will keep things pretty sultry with OVO‘s DVSN getting things started for the crowd. The tour kicks off in Boston with pre-sale general tickets going on sale June 22 so get ready.

Zayn Considering Appearance on Atlanta

Pop star Zayn Malik might be flexing his acting muscles on one of America’s favorite television shows.

In his July cover story with GQ, he discussed everything from the mundane cycle of celebrity status, his music, and even mentions how the creators of Atlanta have reached out to him to have him on the show.

“If the part’s right, I’d be really into it,” he said.

Desus and Mero Are Locked In For Showtime Deal

The dynamic duo has secured the bag.

Showtime confirmed that after Desus Nice and The Kid Mero exited Viceland, they will now be bringing their show to the premium network. They’re set to premiere sometime in 2019. In the words of Mero on his Twitter, they are “extra hype for the new doors opening at Showtime JUHUUURDD!”
