In March, French juggernaut Louis Vuitton shocked the fashion industry with it’s surprise appointment of Virgil Abloh as artistic director of menswear. Since then, the Ghanaian-American wonder boy has teased his inaugural collection on IG while continuing to drop sold-out collabs with his Off-White label.

The most anticipated Paris Fashion Week show this year, the designer/DJ/artist debuted his SS19 LV lineup this morning on a technicolor runway flanked with Hollywood’s A-list, including Kim K and former creative collaborator Kanye West.

Now helming of one-half of a multi-billion dollar fashion brand, Abloh has finally silenced the haters who wrote him off as just a streetwear designer. Growing Off-White from a t-shirt and sweats lineup to a CFDA-nominated brand made his epic debut at the top of the fashion food chain feel damn near spiritual. Titled “Color Theory,” the collection features bright takes on LV’s classic silhouettes and signals an exciting new chapter for the brand. Check it out above and peep Abloh’s tear-filled embrace with Yeezy at the end.
