Could There Be a New Sade Album on the Way?

According to longtime collaborator Stuart Matthewman, the two recently created “a bunch of songs.”

“When we’re happy, then we’ll let everyone else hear it,” he said, though no other details were shared. The announcement comes after the release of “Flower of the Universe,” which song appeared on the A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack earlier this year.

“I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway,” Wrinkle director Ava DuVernay said on Twitter upon the soundtrack reveal. “She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled ‘Flower of the Universe.’ And it’s a dream come true.”

Here’s Boots Riley’s Daily Show Interview.

The Rugrats Are Back.

That’s right. In 2018, Nickelodeon’s hit 90s cartoon is returning with a 26-episode series revival as well as a live-action film with CGI characters.

“Both the TV series and the movie will include new adventures with beloved characters Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie and Angelica, and will also introduce a new world of characters,” Variety reports. OG creators Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain are also slated to return as executive producers for the TV series.

Nostalgia, ultra.
