Kaepernick Removed From Big Sean Verse on Madden 19 Soundtrack
Kaepernick won’t be seen or heard on Madden NFL 19, on some truly petty shit.
While the game doesn’t officially drop until next week, people who have gotten early copies have noted that the quarterback’s name was pulled from the Big Sean verse of “Big Bank” featuring 2 Chainz and Nicki Minaj on the game’s soundtrack. Many assume that it has to do with Kaep’s starting the “Take a Knee” initiative.
TMZ reached out to game developers, Electronic Arts, for an explanation and they have yet to respond back.
YG Donates $150K to Girl Code LA
YG is doing his part to make sure that young girls are getting the step ahead they need to succeed. The emcee donated $150,000 to Girl Code LA to help young female coders gain experience in the tech world.
“This leads to influence future decisions within their field, creating smaller opportunities for diversity,” he said. “With my donation, I hope they’ll be able to expand their reach of future female coders and programmers. I want to make sure I’m doing my part, I got a daughter and I respect the G Code.”
He also gave students free Beats by Dre headphones and talked to them about taking non-traditional career paths.
