Rashida Tlaib Won the Democratic Nomination for U.S. House in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
As CNN notes, she won’t be facing a Republican opponent in the general election come November, and though she could technically be opposed by a write-in candidate, that probably won’t happen.
All that said, Tlaib will likely become the first Muslim woman elected to Congress. Clap for her!

The Fourth & Final Suspect in XXXTentacion’s Murder Has Been Arrested.
“Police in Florida have arrested a fourth suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder, nearly two months after the 20-year-old rapper was gunned down,” VIBE reports. “Trayvon Newsome surrendered to police Tuesday (Aug. 7) at his lawyer’s office in Fort Lauderdale, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced in a news release.”
