The movie lineup for 2019 keeps getting better and better. The trailer for ‘Men in Black International,’ starring Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth has dropped, making us even more excited to see it when it drops in summer 2019.
The F. Gary Grey-directed (Fate of the Furious) and Steven Spielberg-executive produced film is a spinoff to the original Men in Black films from the 90s and early aughts starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Kumail Nanjiani, the Pakistani-American actor of The Big Sick, will also be included in the cast as well as Rafe Spall of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The Les Twins, who are known for their street dancing videos and touring alongside Beyoncé and Jay-Z, are also starring in the film.
In the trailer, Thompson becomes Agent M, a new member of the organization who is trying to prove herself as a worthy member of the organization. She ventures to London to partner with Agent H, played by Hemsworth, who is already known as a celebrity in the business.
The official description of the film reads as follows: “The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.”
Last time we heard, the film was slated for a June 14, 2019 release but the trailer simply says Summer 2019. Until then, check out the trailer down below.
