NFL Enters Partnership With Caesars

NFL is all about the money now.

While NFL has criticized gambling for over 10 years, they announced on Thursday morning that Caesars is the first official casino sponsor of the league. The partnership is effective immediately, starting with the NFL playoffs. The announcement says it will be “providing  unique experiences for NFL fans by using its casino properties, celebrity chefs, premier music artists, and a wide range of entertainment elements.”

Caesars will also be able to use NFL trademarks and activate at key NFL events including the Super Bowl and NFL Draft.

Danny Ainge is Put Off By LeBron’s GOAT Remarks

LeBron James said in a recent comment that winning a title with the Cleveland Cavaliers and beating the 73-win Golden State Warriors made him the best player in NBA history. But Boston Celtics president of basketball operations, Danny Ainge wasn’t here for it.

“His career’s not over,” Ainge said in an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich show. “I’d just like to—why he’s saying that, I don’t know. Maybe he thinks that sells. Maybe he’s taking the Donald Trump approach and trying to sell himself. I don’t know.”

Maybe comparing a Black man (that isn’t Kanye West) to Cheeto-in-Chief wasn’t the best move, but go off fam.

CW Orders Pilot of Ruby Rose as Batwoman

It’s official: we’re getting a Ruby Rose Batwoman stand-alone series.

CW ordered the pilot on Thursday with David Nutter, who directed ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Arrow,’ and ‘The Flash,’ as the director. Batwoman will be the first-ever superhero series to be led by a lesbian character and played by an openly gay actress with Rose.

Here’s The CW’s official description: Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane [Rose] soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”
