Households (and Twitter accounts) across the country are still reeling from the airing of Lifetime’s shocking Surviving R.Kelly over the weekend. While the first four episodes focused on Kelly’s wife and relationships with women in the 90s and early aughts like Aaliyah, the final two episodes were centered on his alleged sex cult. In the episode viewers also saw candid interviews with parents of girls in the alleged cult who are desperately trying to get their daughters back.
Angelo Clary, the father of Azriel Clary, is still worried about the safety of his daughter and called in to DJ Quicksilva’s radio show in Baltimore to dismiss the critiquing of his parenting.
