New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is in severe trouble. News broke today that there is a warrant out for the billionaire’s arrest after being named as one of “Johns” caught up in a prostitution ring bust in Florida.
Authorities revealed 77-year-old Kraft will be charged with 2 counts of “soliciting another to commit prostitution,” Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr confirmed during a press conference where he also revealed he was “stunned as everyone else” when the Patriots owner name came up as a suspect.
Authorities claim Kraft solicited a prostitute on two separate occasions and has visited the Orchids of Asia Day Spa as recently as a month ago. Their case seems airtight as they have obtained evidence from body cam video and surveillance footage and even have video footage of him engaged in acts with a prostitute as part of their 8-month investigation.
The Martin County Sheriff revealed the woman involved in the human trafficking ring were given no days off and seen about 1,500 men a year adding their hygiene was “minimal” at best. Their services ranged from $59 or $79 per hour according to police.
Robert Kraft will be charged with a misdemeanor and will have to appear in court. Kraft is maintaining his innocence and in a statement from his spokesperson denies he engaged in any illegal activity.
This case is still developing but could mean Robert Kraft is in some serious trouble due to the fact it involves human trafficking and sex slaves. It will be interesting to see how the NFL which has a history of fumbling when it comes to punishing individuals in its league handles this situation involving one of its most beloved owners. We will be keeping a close eye on this ordeal as plays out.
