Fabolous can breathe now, the Brooklyn rapper will avoid severe prison time after he pleaded guilty to a harassment charge in a domestic violence case involving the mother of his sons Emily B and her father.

Bossip broke the news that the “Make Me Better” rapper copped to the lesser charge and accepted a plea deal stipulating that he will have to complete a pretrial intervention program. If he honors the agreement and finishes the course the one count of harassment would be expunged from his criminal record.

Per Bossip:

The rapper pled guilty to one count of harassment for threatening and menacing “Love & Hip Hop” star Emily B. and her father, according to a spokeswoman for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Under a plea deal, Fab pled guilty in exchange for no jail time. Instead, he’ll have to complete a pre-trial intervention program for one year, according to the Prosecutor’s Office. If he completes the program, he’ll have the charge expunged from his criminal record.

Fabolous dodged a serious bullet—he initially indicted on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily after getting into a physical altercation with Emily B and striking her several times and knocking out her two front teeth allegedly. A surveillance camera captured footage of a confrontation between Emily B’s father and Fabolous in the driveway of the couples Englewood, New Jersey home. The rapper threatened to kill Emily her dad as well as her brother with a pair of scissors in his hand after the former reality star called them and asked to remove firearms from the house.

The couple has since reconciled and looks like a happy once again—we hope things remain this way for them.
