Nipsey Hussle’s Flagship Marathon Clothing Store Is Temporarily Closing.

“Thank you to everyone who’s placed an order with us these last couple of weeks,” the store said in an announcement on May 6. “We appreciate the unprecedented outpour of support. It means a lot to our team and family.”

Customers will still be able to support the store online, they added.

“We are working around the clock to fulfill every order placed. We ask for your patience as we get everything fulfilled and shipped out to you,” the announcement continued. “Additionally, our flagship store is closed right now, but our online store is open 24/7 to serve you and is the only authorized retailer of our brand. Once again, thank you for your support.”

Diddy Got Emotional While Talking About Celebrating Mother’s Day without Kim Porter.

Diddy and his children recently graced the cover of Essence, who had dream hampton talk to the mogul about everything from family to the loss of Kim Porter. Recently released audio from his sit-down with hampton reveals a very emotional Diddy as he reminisces on Porter.

“This Mother’s Day is gonna hurt,” Diddy told hampton in the 20-minute clip that was released on Thursday (May 9). “We’re definitely gonna celebrate all the mothers but you know honestly…anybody that’s lost a mother, lost a soulmate, it takes time. They say time heals all wounds [but] when it comes to your mother, or mothers, I don’t think that’s the case. And that’s not a negative thing because as people we need wounds…you need something to sting you sometimes, to keep you on point. [To] teach you a lesson.”

He also shouted out all Black mothers.

“When it comes to the category of who’s the strongest beings on the face of the earth, it would have to be Black mothers. I don’t think anybody could ever understand how hard it is to be a Black mother.”
