Megan Thee Stallion Says Double Standards Don’t Allow Her to Rap Like Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti.
These days, it seems like just about every rapper is using what Genius calls “unorthodox” flows. But the privilege to use them is only given to men, says Megan Thee Stallion, who believes that if she rapped like Lil Uzi Vert or Playboi Carti, it wouldn’t fly with most.
“Being a girl too—they criticize you harder than they criticize men,” she said in a recent interview. “If I was out there making little noises like Uzi and Carti be making, they would not rock with that. And not saying that they don’t be going hard, because we definitely finna turn up to both of them, but if it was a chick, like—no.”

Drake’s High School Lyric Notebook Is Selling for $35,000.
Calling all Aubrey stans: Drizzy’s high school notebook, which is filled with his early bars, is currently on the market for $35K thanks to Moments in Time. You may recall when they auctioned off one of Drake’s other notebooks last year.
“Drake’s love for Lacoste was crystal clear … he slapped a huge sticker on the notebook cover, signing his stage name above the famous crocodile logo,” TMZ details. “Inside the notebook — found in a dumpster near his grandfather’s furniture factory — Champagne Papi proudly wrote about buying a Lacoste jacket for $171, and listed another Lacoste shirt and hat under his ‘must-haves.'”

Ezekiel Elliott Was Almost Arrested at a Vegas Festival.
Ezekiel Elliott ended up in handcuffs amid the Electric Daisy Carnival after reportedly pushing a security guard to the ground. He was not formally arrested, however. He was only detained, says TMZ.
In a statement from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, law enforcement explains:
“On Sunday, May 19, 2019 at approximately 3 a.m. LVMPD officers working at EDC observed from a distance an adult male, later identified as Elliott, push a security officer to the ground. Two officers approached and placed Elliott into handcuffs while they investigated the incident. The security guard who was the victim of the misdemeanor battery, refused to press charges and officers escorted Elliott a short distance away and he was released.”
According to TMZ, this all happened after he was seen arguing with his girlfriend in a parking lot.
