50 Cent first announced that G-Unit would be producing the docuseries in early December, at which point Combs had been sued by four different women, beginning with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, whose lawsuit opened the floodgates against him, and with whom he quickly arrived at a settlement. At the time, 50 Cent shared a clip on X that showed Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry alleging that Combs would spike bottles of champagne at his parties before women drank from them. Proceeds from the documentary, the rapper-producer said, will be used to support sexual assault victims. It’s a good look from 50 that the proceeds from the series will go to aid and support victims of sexual assault. Otherwise, it might appear that the “Many Men” artist was only getting involved in order to continue his apparent years-long rivalry with Diddy and to profit off of the trauma sexual assault victims across America and the globe experience. Although, in true Fif fashion, 50 did throw shade at Diddy while making the official announcement that the series is in the works, tweeting, “I been telling y’all about all this weird shit, I don’t do NO puffy party’s. you didn’t believe me…but I bet you believe me now!”
