Bobby Portis Offers $40K To Anyone That Finds His "Prized Possessions"

It turns out that the FBI was right to investigate Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ houses being robbed because they feared the crime may be part of a larger problem. Now, another prominent professional athlete’s home has been robbed while they were playing a game, although authorities have officially connected them. Milwaukee Buck Bobby Portis took to Instagram and X to announce to his millions of followers that his River Hills, Wisconsin, home was ransacked on Nov. 2 while he was playing an away game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where they lost 116-114. In the social media post, he expressed how much Milwaukee’s basketball community has accepted him.

“Over the last four-and-a-half seasons, I’ve considered Milwaukee as a home. I’ve grown here. I came here as a boy and elevated into a man,” the 29-year-old said. “The love you guys have given me here isn’t something I’ve ever felt before in my NBA career.”

“While I was at the game yesterday, we had a home invasion, and they took most of my prized possessions,” Portis said. He pleads with anyone with any information regarding the crime to contact him at info@bobbyportis.com. “Any info that leads to the return of any of my belongings will be rewarded handsomely,” he adds, with an Instagram caption that reveals that he’s got $40,000 for anyone willing to help him recover his possessions. He also shared a minute-long security video of two men standing outside his home who appeared to be criminals. You can even hear one of them talking. A $40,000 check for any information means that whatever was stolen from Portis’ house is either pretty valuable or means a lot to him; however, he wasn’t clear about what was stolen. However, after Kelce and Mahomes were robbed last month — also while playing a game– TMZ reported that the former’s back door was damaged, as well as $20,000 in cash being taken. What was stolen from Mahomes’ property hasn’t been revealed. Between the two Kansas City Chiefs teammates and the Bucks player, this could be a bigger operation, and the FBI is now investigating to find the culprits. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, River Hills police chief Michael Gaynor says the burglary is similar to other athletes’ cases but “have not determined if they are linked.” See how social media is reacting to the latest home invasion below.
