Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump Holds Rally In Wilmington, North Carolina

For anyone who thought Donald Trump‘s political shenanigans would last beyond the next four years, you’re sorely mistaken.

The former president has said that he doesn’t plan to run another campaign in hopes of winning in 2028 if he loses against Vice President Kamala Harris in November’s presidential election.

He sat with Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Sharyl Attkisson at his Mar-a-Lago home for an interview that later aired on her Full Measure program on Sunday.

Keeping folks on the edge of their seats, the last question she had for Trump was whether he’d run again. While admitting he wouldn’t, he was still hopeful he’d win this time. Of course, constitutional rules would never let him run for a third time if he did win this year.

“No, I don’t. No, I don’t,” Trump said. “I think that that will be, that will be it. I don’t see that at all. I think that hopefully we’re gonna be successful.”

Another topic discussed was the two failed assassination attempts made in his life. The first came during one of his campaign rallies in Pennsylvania when the shooter laid on a nearby roof and took several shots at him– one hitting his ear and another killing someone. The other came last week, when a shooter was found in the brush at Trump International Golf Club.

For the attempted killing, he was asked if he still felt well protected.

“I think that I will feel safe I think I’m going to feel safe,” he said. “I can’t be scared because if you’re scared, you can’t do your job, so I just can’t be. I have, thus far, had somebody protecting me.”

Then, he was asked what he does to stay healthy (because he’s infamously an aficionado of McDonald’s and KFC).

“I try to eat properly. I do [eat hamburgers] I like all of the wrong food, but I say, ‘does anyone know what the right food is?’ he poses. “People who have been lecturing me for years, ‘don’t eat this, don’t eat that.’ They’re gone. They’re passed away long ago.”

See how excited people are they we’re possibly just a few weeks away from never dealing with political Trump again.
