Today, Louis Vuitton has finally announced the release dates for its sought after collaboration with streetwear brand Supreme. This follows the buzz resulting from yesterday’s announcement of the brand’s Sydney, Australia pop-up shop debuting on June 30.
Mens Artistic Director Kim Jones took to Instagram to announce the June 30 debut of additional pop-up locations in Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Paris, London, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Fans in the Big Apple, though, aren’t so lucky. As reported by Fashionista last month, efforts to set up shop in SoHo were shut down by the local community board. Such a shame, considering “The City That Never Sleeps” was the impetus for this launch to begin with. “No New York City men’s conversation is complete without Supreme,” Jones said of the collab. Guess those grumpy “New Yawkers” thought otherwise.
