The child rape case Jay-Z shared with Diddy may have been dismissed, but the legal saga is far from over.

Jay has already targeted attorney Tony Buzbee, dubbed him a 1-800 lawyer, and questioned his character, but now he’s explaining that despite the case being dropped, it’s affected his income.

According to Deadline, in a declaration filed on Feb. 10, Jay reveals that the career-ending accusations cost him millions in lost contracts.

Jay-Z and the Roc Nation team may have renewed their deal with the NFL to enhance the league’s live game entertainment and social justice efforts, but he says his relationship with sports entities has been affected.

“Mr. Buzbee’s actions undermined my relationship, and my company Roc Nation’s relationship, with other businesses in the sports and entertainment space. We have agreements to produce entertainment programs for certain sporting events,” the filing reads. “Immediately after Mr. Buzbee went public with his false accusations, my company Roc Nation also lost other contracts in the sports and entertainment space that would have generated revenues of approximately $20 million per year.”

Business aside, Jay-Z mentioned the difficult conversation he’d have with his family—especially his kids—regarding the allegation and thinks the initial lawsuit dropping the day before he was scheduled to attend a highly publicized premier event to support daughter Blue Ivy‘s role in Mufasa: The Lion King was on purpose.

“I was harshly criticized by others for accompanying my daughter to the premiere of her movie a day after Mr. Buzbee filed the Jane Doe lawsuit against me,” Jay-Z said of the Dec. 9 Los Angeles premiere event he attended with Blue Ivy and Beyonce. “Media outlets reported that Disney was hesitant over my attendance at the premiere because of the accusations. I feel that Mr. Buzbee purposely filed this lawsuit on the eve of my daughter’s premiere to put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage.”

The assault stems from a Jane Doe who claims Diddy and Jay raped her when she was 13 years old at an MTV VMA Awards after-party back in 2000.
