Kanye West Makes Unwelcomed Return To X To Complain About The Grammys

Kanye West’s deactivated X account apparently didn’t last too long.
The rapper recently reemerged on the app formerly known as Twitter to continue his rants about attending the 2025 Grammys, which went viral after his wife Bianca Censori wore a sheer dress, leaving nothing to the imagination.
In his unwelcome return to social media, he talks about how the Grammys felt it was okay to nominate his song ‘Carnival’ from his collaborative album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign for Best Rap Song yet fail to give him tickets to the ceremony.
“How could the Grammies [sic] nominate me Then not give me tickets, And then people mad when I go off,” West angrily tweeted.
He continued, saying that just getting access to the red carpet was a tough enough feat, so he and his wife left immediately after the fur coat-dropping stunt.
“I had to fight for 5 hours and call everyone I knew to get tickets to the Grammies They eventually gave me tickets but only for the red carpet. At that point, I hadn’t started the rampage,” he added in the since-deleted tweets.
The rampage he speaks of came days after the Grammys when he sent out a flurry of tweets taunting the Jewish community with antisemitic messaging, made sexually inappropriate comments about Kamala Harris that he later apologized for, and came to the defense of Diddy regarding the 2016 video of him beating then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallways of a Los Angeles hotel. He even tweeted, “LET ME START BY SAYING. I HAVE HIT WOMEN BEFORE,” and called for Kendrick Lamar to protest Diddy’s legal issues during his Super Bowl Halftime show.
Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor told People earlier this month that despite being nominated, the award was presented before the telecast, which Mustard accepted on behalf of Kendrick Lamar for the diss track turned anthem ‘ Not Like Us.’
“From what I understand, they were there for the red carpet,” Kapoor said. “I’m not sure if he was at [pre-telecast presentation] where most of the awards were handed out, which is at the Peacock Theater before the main show. But that award was definitely in [pre-telecast presentation].”
