Summer’s over.

Well, not technically. But the shorts are going away, sports are coming back, blockbuster NBA trades are —hopefully—over, and we’re heading into our last long BBQ weekend. Aside from crashing family parties with tons of free food and that extra day off, Labor Day sales are the best part of the weekend. As you scour the internet trying to figure what to add to the crib or your Fall/ Winter 2017 wardrobe, here are a few things you should probably add to your cart.

1 Boots

Technically you should’ve copped a fresh pair of Timbs at the beginning of the summer when they were on deep sale, but now you need to make sure you’ve got some before the temperatures drop and the first snow falls. Construction boots not your thing? Cop a clean pair of new Chelsea boots. Your local department store will definitely be having sales this weekend, so get fall ready.

2 A New iPhone

We finally know that Apple’s iPhone 8 will debut on September 12. That means that for everyone who’s still rocking an iPhone 6 —or your 5 that somehow still works— it’s finally time to upgrade. Now that the iPhone 8 is official, the price will drop dramatically on the iPhone 7 for those who don’t need the new new.

3 Sunglasses

Pro tip: sunglasses aren’t just for the summer. They can protect your eyes from swirling leaves and snow-reflected sun. Your beanie and sunglasses combo will ensure that you get off many ‘fits after the cold weather arrives.

4 A New Television

College football is finally back, the NFL season begins the first week of September, and the NBA season tips off in October. What’s that mean? It’s probably time to buy a new TV. How else are you gonna watch Odell Beckham’s dance moves before the punt? Or see the look on Kyrie Irving and LeBron James‘ faces when the play against each other in the season opener? Get your 1080p game up.
