The University of Kentucky basketball program is one of the most popular in college sports, as it consistently brings in the highest-ranked recruits from all over the world. And, under the leadership of coach John Calipari, the team always finds itself in the hunt for a national championship. Now, Drake has a surprise for its students.

The rapper is one of the program’s biggest fans, and he’s shown his love for UK on numerous occasions, from sneaker collaborations to his “participation” in team activities in past years. During his visit to Rupp Arena for this year’s “Big Blue Madness” event—the unofficial kickoff to the season—Coach Calipari gave high praise to the Canadian music star. “If you want to emulate excellence and maintain humility [and] loyalty, emulate Drake,” Calipari said. “If you want to emulate strong drive, embracing the biggest stage and the goodness of the compassionate heart, you emulate Drake.”

Once he took the stage, Drake made sure to share his love with Big Blue Nation with a promise of a free concert for the University of Kentucky before the end of the school year. “That’s all I ask. Big Blue Nation, I love you. Make some noise for your team and make some noise for Coach Cal!”
