We can all use a bit of levity during these challenging times, and Daddy’s Home 2 comes through with the laughs. The all-star cast includes Mark Wahlberg, John Cena, Linda Cardellini and John Lithgow. And if you can move past the fact that controversial and polarizing actor Mel Gibson is also playing a main character, this one just might be funnier than the first.
CASSIUS flew out to Beverly Hills to grill the cast about everything from life on set to their own parenting styles. When Wahlberg is asked about his former alter ego, Marky Mark, the actor makes it clear that his children aren’t exactly rocking out to “Good Vibrations” on a regular basis. “The only time I get annoyed is when I’m at my son’s football game and we’re at an away game…and all of a sudden the announcer will play it,” he says, referring to his only memorable song. “And then my kids get annoyed.”
