After a week off, the trio is back.
Jada, Beanz and Bruce dive straight into what’s popping in sports this week and that started with LiAngelo Ball and his trip to China. He and two of his UCLA teammates allegedly stole some sunglasses from Louis Vuitton. The crew debates if Ball was an accomplice or if he actually swiped the sunglasses— but we all agree that it definitely wasn’t good. We also wax poetic about how great yet sad Ric Flair’s 30 for 30 was and which athletes we’re still waiting for ESPN‘s documentary series to touch on.
And like always, Bruce and Beanz go back and forth about their beloved and embattled New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers. But the plot twists as Beanz finally admits that his Cavs are sucking so far while still lamenting that it’s still super early into the season. Bruce on the other hand is just happy that the Knicks are steam rolling ahead—despite plenty of their wins coming over lackluster teams. But we’ll take it.
Jada closes out this episode on a somber note with a salute to Roy Halladay, the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays baseball great who died while flying his own plane.
