In another clip, Chance and the rest of the Sesame Street gang send their love (and cookies and unicorns) to daughter Kensli. *Clutching chests* Our hearts!
Nina Simone Will Be Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
For the first time since being eligible in 1986 (things that make you go “hmm…”), Nina Simone is among the inductees for the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Sitting alongside rock and roll godmother Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Simone is one of two Black women being honored for their music contributions. Long overdue and well worth being celebrated, but like Splinter News, we can’t help but squint our eyes at how the Hall of Fame team worded her “honorary” description.
