According to IMDB, Den of Thieves is “a gritty crime saga which follows the lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Department and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank.”
But the truth is, Den of Thieves is one of the best damn movies we’ve seen in a long time. An intense game of cops and robbers, there’s enough action, drama, and suspense to keep you very entertained the entire time.
Gerard Butler, who looks like a cop in real life, plays a very convincing Nick Flanagan, an L.A. County Sheriff’s Department specialist in the major crimes division. His squad’s main mission is to take down one of the most successful bank robbery crews in Los Angeles, which is led by Pablo Schreiber and includes 50 Cent and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
CASSIUS had the opportunity to sit down with Butler and 50, and we discussed a few fun facts. They spilled their real thoughts on being thieves and when they last stepped foot inside a bank. Plus, we got to hear 50’s summary of the beef between Optimum and STARZ, the home of his hit show, Power.
