An Austin Bombing Suspect Has Killed Himself.

Authorities have confirmed the suspect, a 24-year-old white man, killed himself early Wednesday by setting off a bomb inside of his car as police approached him for arrest. Police do not yet know his motives for the bombings or whether he acted alone.

His death comes just hours after the sixth detonation in a terrorizing string of explosions went off on Tuesday night. On early Tuesday, an Austin-bound package exploded at FedEx facility near Antonia. According to CNN, “the person who sent the package that exploded Tuesday also shipped a second one that was turned over to law enforcement officials.”
